So my self-imposed moratorium on buying any more yarn or starting any more projects failed miserably.  I received Webs new fall catalog and fell in love with some of the projects.  And yes I succumbed to temptation like a true junkie and started clicking away.

When I saw this pattern in particular I couldn't resist and since I haven't made my son anything green yet what is girl to do but cast on?

The pattern book has 13 patterns and I want to knit up at least 6 of them at first glance.  The children patterns have a large range of sizing and so I can knit something for both kids out of this one booklet.
A cardigan for me and maybe something for my husband (that would be a first).

Now I need to finish at least a couple of projects this weekend in order to allow myself to cast on for this one.  Hope you all have a wonderful Friday and a relaxing weekend!

I haven't even looked at the most recent WEBS catalog. Maybe it's a good thing?

I wish you loads of knitting time...

Precious! I would like a sweater like that for me, and even in that very green. Love the yarn!!!

What an adorable hoodie! I love getting the Fall catalogs and I'm in a bit of a stash enhancement mode myself so don't feel alone - LOL

I love that green. Beautiful and tweedy looking. Finish up those projects because I am dying to see this baby casted on!:)

I wouldn't have been able to resist that project either! I think I would have enjoyed knitting for my boys at that age. I hope you finished a project or two this weekend!

You were right to cast on , but oh the guilt of those projects waiting. Why can't they learn that they will get finished.... eventually.

oh, that hoodie is so sweet - and would look great in any size. I totally understand the webs addiction. I nearly bought the yarn for the cardi on the cover but i decided against the vertical knitting 'cause i'm not sure the bottom edge would lay straight.

Haha it sounds just like me. The moratorium lasted 2 months, heck that's a long time until I saw the website of Holst Garn and started clicking away. Even though it ships from Denmark it still is a pretty good darn deal...that's what I keep telling myself ;o)

what a sweet hoodie! It's going to be perfect in the yarn you chose. I how I wish I had been knitting when my babes were young.

Who could resist such a cute pattern! No one could blame you for that. Besides, the "no new yarn" (which I'm on right now) certainly helps cut down buying a lot, if not altogether stopping it :)
